If you fancy whipping out the cream chargers and making some of your own ice cream, then cograts – it’s an awesome way to spend an afternoon. Not to mention the fact that home made ice cream is absolutely lovely. However, you might be unsure about exactly which flavours will suit you best. That’s why we’ve come up with this list of some of the best ice cream flavours in the world. Mmmm, ice cream.
Chocolate. Like we were ever going to start anywhere else. Whatever you might think about diets, plus size models or the British fashion industry in general, stuffing your face with chocolate ice cream remains a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Always a classic, and always will be a classic.
Strawberry. Basically the sickly sweet option for those who aren’t mad chocolate fans, strawberry offers a variety of different varieties, including saucey, meringuey and simply plain. Definitely an epic option.
Banana. A divisive flavour, I’ve known friends who erupted with fury at the sheer mention of banana ice-cream. Personally, I don’t mind it. It’s different, sure, but so is sushi, and that’s immense. There should be a march for banana ice-cream equality, I’m sure of it.
Vanilla. Sure, it might be the most boring flavour on principle, but a bit of boring is OK once in a while. Just ask James Blunt: he does OK from it. One of the pluses of vanilla ice cream is that because it’s fairly bland, it can go with everything from a good coffee to a strudel. Versatility is the name of the game.
Toffee ripple. Whilst I try to avoid personal opinions coming into my writing, one fact remains: if you don’t like toffee ripple ice-cream, you need to look very carefully at your life. With a flavour that just screams nomnomnomnom, toffee ripple is the ice cream of the gods.
